Hi there,
Just wandered onto your blog from google. I was trying to remember the name of one of the novels I had read in Readers Digest Condensed Books.
The plot is set in Sicily where a young american goes back to claim his father’s inheritance.. his father was a local folk hero who fought against the sicilian mafia. And, the book is about how the young american initially comes to despise sicily and by the end of the novel falls in love with it and decides to fight back and save it from the mafia.
Any idea?
